On a plot area of approximately 40000 sqm with about 12000 sqm of construction
area this was a state of the art plant with dust proof requirements.
Copper conductor plant for Asta India Pvt. Ltd. was designed by S&T in 2008 - 2009. The project consists of enamel tower which was the high bay and then the main production line area. The entire plant area was planned with ventilation system along with epoxy flooring to maintain dust free environment in the plant. This was a fabricated structure from standard sections using welding and bolting to suit the design. Since the steel prices were all time high in 2007 a castellated section was adopted to achieve the necessary economics in the structure. The office building was driven by strong aesthetic requirement which was in language similar to their global facilities.
